13th Oct 2024 With a heavy heart, I had to throw some of my precious gifts I received from my friends when I was still in primary and secondary schools. :( I have kept these gifts for more than 10, 15 years, some could be 20 years too. Since I can’t keep them anymore due to moving house, I took snapshots of them and post some online for remembrance. Sharing some below: 2 extra long pens from JieLynn, if I remember correctly, they were from India. Photo frame by Wing Lam back in 2010, when we were in 1 Jaya (form 1). Look at the eyes already turned yellowish 🤣 This metal pencil case was from my primary school form teacher, 谭老师 when I got top 10 in school ranking. It was either from 2008 or 2009. 26th Sep 2024 Things just went downhill so quickly. Popo was diagnosed at the end of June and she left us 3 months later. She passed away peacefully at 5:30am on the 26th September 2024 (Thursday) in the hospital. It was a painful news to us but we believe popo is now at a better place with no pain. Her favourite granddaughters.  Popo, did you hear the eulogy I gave for both days? Mum’s friends said I made them cry, do you think the same too? We have so much beautiful memories together. We love you, popo. (miss you a lot too) We are grateful to have had you in our life and glad that we get to spend our time almost everyday at the last stage of your life.  We love you, forever. Rest in peace, our strongest popo.

 21st - 25th August 2024 An unexpected work trip to Hong Kong! When I just joined this company in Jan’24, I wasn’t expecting any overseas work trip. It is one of my goals since I stepped into my career life. I always wanted to be able to work overseas, even though it is not a full time overseas work now but a work trip is a great opportunity to me too! Hong Kong was never in my to-go list in my travel plans so a chance to visit without me paying for the flight is definitely a bonus for me. 🤣 Some film photos of me for my first visit to Hong Kong! 🇭🇰  Bird’s eye view of the skyline at Victoria Peak (The Peak). 29 July 2024 2 more days to end July 2024. It has been a stressful and roller coaster month for the family and I as we have been running to the hospital daily. Hope things will get better. 🍀  Hiking is the only activity that allows my mind to take a rest during this period.

24th May 2024 Sneaked in a quick break before H2 2024. My family and I decided to drive to Hatyai and have a 4 days 3 nights trip. All of us had a whale of time and really enjoyed our short vacation there. Nice food, nice shopping spree.  This is taken in an Instagrammable soft serve ice cream place in Songkla, Thailand.🍦  (Sorry not sharing the location, as their ice cream is not great huhu) The recent spike in sports activities has done wonder to my body figure! I only realised it when I find myself not complaining about my big arm when taking photos.  I used to feel disgusted by it when I'm wearing sleeveless (it is also one of the reasons why I started to wear sleeveless less once my muscles turned to fats after I started working). I did not go for the sports activities thinking I can lose weight or tone my body. It was just because my colleagues and friends suddenly have the urge to try out new things. So I just tagged along. 1st January 2024  After all the fun and struggles in an advertising agency, an opportunity strikes and I decided to make a move. On my last physical day (15th Dec'24), I returned my laptop to the company and flew to Dubai in less than 12 hours. It was a last minute decision, I bought my Dubai flight ticket in less than 1 month and Romania flight ticket in less than 2 weeks. Wild. Anyway, I had a whale of time, spending 8 days in Dubai and 8 days in Romania, a 16 days trip. I even get to countdown in Dubai, looking at Burj Khalifa fireworks from afar. It was a whole new experience for me. *Seems like it is time to earn my money back. 💰
