We have Different Cultures - Malaysia vs UK

26/10/2017 There are some days where I sit in front of my laptop and non-stop watching advertisement and short film through YouTube. (my passion I shall say) I enjoy watching those that are meaningful, relatable, touching and unique in its own way. Here, I found one "Merdeka"  (national day in Malaysia)  short film by Celcom & Axiata that is totally worth watching, especially to people who study overseas, work in overseas and live in overseas. I bet all of you would feel the same way as I do. This short film is about a British school teacher named Emma. She came to Malaysia to teach in a secondary school. She experienced many cultural differences between hers and her Malaysian students. The  Malaysian  students were more than delighted to share her their cultures. Study Abroad in the UK - First time leaving home

22/9/2017 After days and months of hesitation, I have finally made my decision to join our Uni's dual award programme (it does sounds like twinning programme where we get to receive degree certificates from both universities). For my course, my university collaborated with Coventry University located in United Kingdom where we will study abroad for 4 months. This dual award programme was a really rush thing for us (oh, I am joining this with another 4 friends of mine). This is because we only get to know this in July and we need to decide and pay within a short period of time. Not to mention, we only bought our flight ticket 3 weeks before our departure and the exact departure date is only 1 week after our final (so yalar, no doubt the flight ticket is expensive - RM3955 for Qatar airway to and fro, 40kg luggage allowance and some other little things).
