Bentong Half Day Trip
22/4/2017
Long weekend? Let us go for a QUICK trip! Mum suggested us to go to Bentong to jalan jalan makan makan. So further ado, we started our trip in the afternoon. (around 2pm, just because we were waiting for my elder sis who stuck in the jam while on the way home)
It took us about an hour to reach Bentong. Our first stop in Bentong is Kow Po Coffee Shop 球宝雪糕么雪店, a famous dessert shop introduced by the Internet. They sell homemade ice cream with different ingredient to choose to match with.

Three of it: Panda flavour ice cream with cendol, Coconut flavour ice cream with red bean and sweet corn and lastly forgotten what flavour ice cream with sweet corn haha
(did not capture the photo of banana split boat)
My review: Not my cup of tea, the ice cream melts easily, strong milk taste which eventually cover the actual flavour, overpriced.
Next stop: Bentong Walk, 文冬文化街. We took a lot of photos over here, there are many creative and nice street arts. At the same time, we were waiting for the stalls to open so that we can stimulate our taste buds.
文冬文化街
This uncle sells the best Apam Balik! He gave a lot of filling (sweet corn, nuts)! Very nice!
没有偷工减料!好得不得了!
My sister's face said it all :)
Some stalls had cute backdrop. Hah!
This asam laksa is from a stall at the end of Bentong Walk. It was nice too!
My lovely family.
My favourite street art, they are just too cute! *Look at the slowly built muscle from doing cheer.*
Durian tree with mama.
Featuring my sis eating a Durian ice cream (this ice cream is better than Kow Po tbh, I am sorry I could not recall the shop's name but it's at the corner shop near this durian tree mural.)
This is not a drawing. but a real window. Olden kind. Looks like an art right?
In between, we stopped by at a coffee shop Yuen Kee Cafe 源记茶餐室 as there is one Wanton Mee stall is famous over there (開记云吞面). Too bad, it was closed when we reached there. So we just had their coffee, teh, roti bakar and half boil egg.
Food and drinks are cheap too.
Their half boil egg is so DAYUMMMM! REALLY NICE! (until we ordered 2 more, but not as good as first time hahaha) Roti bakar was nice too!
The sky is really mesmerizing. Photo-worthy!
Hey, it's family photo again!
Time for dinner. We had unpleasant experience here. Duh.....
So I am not going to describe the food here.
You wouldn't want to know my family made me get down of the car to take these photos...
They said photographer must be ever ready. ouch
BENTONG HALF DAY TRIP ENDED!
#Impromptu trip is the best!
#Especially with family. hehehe
