22/4/2017 Long weekend? Let us go for a QUICK trip! Mum suggested us to go to Bentong to jalan jalan makan makan. So further ado, we started our trip in the afternoon. (around 2pm, just because we were waiting for my elder sis who stuck in the jam while on the way home) It took us about an hour to reach Bentong. Our first stop in Bentong is Kow Po Coffee Shop 球宝雪糕么雪店, a famous dessert shop introduced by the Internet. They sell homemade ice cream with different ingredient to choose to match with. Three of it: Panda flavour ice cream with cendol, Coconut flavour ice cream with red bean and sweet corn and lastly forgotten what flavour ice cream with sweet corn haha (did not capture the photo of banana split boat) My review: Not my cup of tea, the ice cream melts easily, strong milk taste which eventually cover the actual flavour, overpriced. Next stop: Bentong Walk, 文冬文化街. We took a lot of photos over here, there are many creative and nice street arts. At the ...
16/3/2017 THIS COULD BE ONE OF MY HAPPIEST DAY. BECAUSE. MY PARCEL ARRIVED! As a cheerleader, we hope to put on the REAL CHEER SHOES shoes instead of a NORMAL CANVAS SCHOOL SHOES. School shoes might be the right choice for beginner but actually not, school shoes does not fully fit, it leaves space for your leg to move around inside the shoes (which will cause injuries). Besides, its not "specially-made-for-cheer" outsole (bottom of the shoes) is too hard where bases find it painful to grab. However, for me, I personally want to get myself one. *don't you think it is not cheerleader enough if you don't even own one pair of cheer shoes? for me, at least* I WANT A PAIR OF CHEER SHOE! On last October (which is 2016), I ordered Varsity VS1 through my coach. I paid RM330 to him and he told me they will only make the order end of that month. Hence, I thought maybe I can get my first cheer shoes on November or December. BUT I DID NOT. On January 2017, I asked ...
21st - 25th August 2024 An unexpected work trip to Hong Kong! When I just joined this company in Jan’24, I wasn’t expecting any overseas work trip. It is one of my goals since I stepped into my career life. I always wanted to be able to work overseas, even though it is not a full time overseas work now but a work trip is a great opportunity to me too! Hong Kong was never in my to-go list in my travel plans so a chance to visit without me paying for the flight is definitely a bonus for me. 🤣 Some film photos of me for my first visit to Hong Kong! 🇭🇰 Bird’s eye view of the skyline at Victoria Peak (The Peak). Monster building (Yick Cheong Building), a high dense residential building located at Quarry Bay. Another side of the view from The Peak. Chasing the sunset at Belcher Bay Promenade, Kennedy Town. Taking photos of the sea.
