Buffet at Mosaic, Mandarin oriental

24/5/2013

We had our buffet lunch at Mosaic, Mandarin Oriental in Kuala Lumpur as mum's friend gave us a treat there. How lucky I am as out of 3 sisters, I'm the one who get to go :P Happy kid!

Mosaic, Mandarin Oriental is located right next to KLCC and the restaurant has a elegant interior. Real nice. They served good food and good service too :)

Here is some pictures taken there. However, there're more that I didn't get to capture.

At the lobby of Mandarin Oriental.

Selling chocolates and stuffs.

Entrance to Mosaic (actually I'm inside it, so it could be an exist too haha).

A shot from our seats.

Cool hanging pewter lights huh?

Salad bar.

Nearer shot.

Where they prepare barbeque food, ex: satays and HUGE sausages.
Don't miss out their satay!
Once they prepared them, you can see people lining up and they left none after a few minutes. So you know why :P

Amazed by their interior design.

Chinese food!

Indian cuisine.

Oyster! Well, I didn't try them though :P

Japanese food :3

Fresh sashimi.

Mum's blurry food.

Decorative breads.

Here is the real one but I didn't get to try it as I'm full.

DESSERT TIME!
Chocolate fondue fountain. Always my favie!

I like looking at their large dessert bar.
Variety of desserts for us to choose!

Now looking back at the pictures, I feel regret for not trying them all :')

Macaroons!

Tiny mini.

Look at the chocolate at the front. It's really YUM YUM

There's also a mochi at the left.

I just ate one because it's too sweet for me. I mean super duper sweet :O
However, when I looked at the others' review upon this, they were mad love in it!
What happened to my taste bud?!

This really tastes good but I can't recall what flavour is that.

Vanilla ice cream.

Here is a few shots of the macaroons made by my mum's friend, aunty Vivian!
They made really yummy macaroons. Obviously, one is always not enough haha

They even made their OWN chocolate // homemade chocolate.
