Broga Camp

18/11/2013 - 19/11/2013

Itinerary of our Broga camp.

Monday (18/11/2013)
The day is finally here! It's the first day of holiday and of course it's the day I'm going for a camp with my beloved friends. Waking up early in the morning like how we usually did during schooling days. Carrying a backpack, a recycle bag and a sling bag (I brought too much things lol). When we reached our school, we are required to queue up to take our tag and a plastic bag. Then, we departed from our school at 7.30a.m.

Participant No.25, Audrey Tee.

We aware that Miss Wong is taking photos :P

Putting our stuffs.

Selca in the bus with Hooi Yee.

Wei Ling and Chou Tong sat in front of us.

We just couldn't resist when we saw Syairah's camera haha

Our first destination is Rabbit fun land. We were conducted by Mr. Jerry Wong. We were given the opportunity to try the milking of cow, feeding the goats, deers and rabbits, pony ride and get to see a really PRECIOUS EDUCATIONAL scene which is how the rabbits sex lolol. We also had our simple lunch here (nugget, sausages and fried rice *forgotten to take picture). What disappoint me is, we didn't get to try rabbit meat while teacher actually told us we have the chance to :(

Mr. Jerry is giving us some talks.

Fish eye lens aka magic lens.

Love the way Syairah took this pic!

This goat has a huge head which cause it couldn't get his head out to eat.

Four of us :)

Need some loveSSSSS from us? ;)

Baby is hungry!

The worker is showing us the way of cow milking.

Fresh warm milk.

Gave myself a try.

Feeding the baby goats some milk ;)

Albino buffalo.

It turned its head for this shot?

Mr. Jerry taught us something new.... hehehehe

THIS IS IT! I know you get what it means haha

They are only 5 days old.

Aww aren't they look cute? ;)

BUNNY RABBIT

Carrying up the rabbit ;)

My specs were going too low hahaha

Feeding its young.

This is a giant one. I guess it's quite old too.

I don't know who did this but it is cute!

Bull.

Hooi Yee said this pony just had its haircut. That's why it need to cover up ._.

Pony ride and did you know the horse's eyes gone red :( *made us feltguilty
The worker explained to Hooi Yee that it went through a fight which caused its eyes red.

That rabbit was eating Hooi Yee's carrot but for this shot, I have to act haha

Playing around.

Coming down.

Selca.

Illya, Adilah, Syairah and me :)

A group photo before we proceed to Paradise Valley.

Paradise Valley is within a stone's throw away from Rabbit Fun Land. When we reached Paradise Valley resort, Instructor PJ gave us a short brief about our schedule for these 2 days. They also served us with welcome drink (orange juice) before everyone check out their tents. It was terribly hot inside the tent as the sun is scorching hot and there's no air circulation inside before it was opened. We can't help ourselves from stop snapping pictures of ours, the tents and the surrounding.

Paradise Valley Resort.

Entrance of Paradise Valley.

Instructor PJ was giving us a short brief.

You can see that we were not concentrating :3

While having our welcome drink.

Directory.

Our tents are right next beside the kayak pond and we're surrounded by trees and hills too. Good environment.

Our tents.

And we stayed in tent 18.

This tent was fully equipped with 2 single beds, light and fan!
That's why our teacher said that it's modern tent haha

It's hot when you are inside it in the afternoon.

Their toilet is clean too.

Four of us :)

Wei Ling, Wei Ling, watcha wanna do?

Being insane together.

With the brownish pond haha

Unpacking our luggage.

Aww I like these pictures ;D

Went to the hall to snap pictures again.

Crossing the bridge which is link to the cafeteria.

You can spend your leisure time here :)

Chou Tong, where are you looking?

After having enough of rest, we were called up to get ready for the next activity. We were divided into 2 groups and we were in group A who is going for abseiling first. We walked up a slanting road which is really tiring. In this game, I'm the 2nd person to try (volunteer to be as I don't want to wait for so long. Being enthusiastic haha). It was quite fun but I would like to try again with a faster speed (like how they did in the movie ngek).

It's time for abseiling and wall climbing :3

We were already exhausted after walking up the slanting road.

Along the way.

Abseiling.

Safety first.

The instructor was helping me on the set up.

CIAO!

Fooling around and it made my hand so SMELLY because there's water in it -.-

Idk what did Nazurah said which drew our attention haha

Instructor PJ, are you acting cool? hmmm

Group A!

What fruit is that?

Greenery.

Looking so cozy.

Yeepee ;)

Next up, wall climbing! The instructor told me not to rush when I'm wearing the safety set up and my friends told me not to rush again when I'm climbing hahaha. Impetuous person I can say? but glad that I'm a fast climber and I wish to play them more often. It was really fun but a lil low in height. While waiting for the others, Syairah requested to take pic with the Form 2 instructor, all of us were like "awwww, so sweet" but when she asked us to join in, we still dash into it (the passion of taking pic) hahahaha After that, everyone non stop teasing Hooi Yee that the guy is Hooi Yee's crush padahal it was the Syairah who requested for the pic. Sorry Hooi Yee :') XD

Wall Climbing.

Climbing climbing :3

And I'm done, say PEACEEEE.

(Y)(Y)(Y)(Y)

Illya Illya....

Illya always came out with weird things ._.

Loving this pic hehe

Those alphabets aren't from me but I'm going to change them too haha.

Miss Wong told Danial that because of this kakak, there are words on the soil hahaha

He's only 14 O.O

WOW!

Group A completed!

After the sweating and excitement, we went back to clean up and also had our dinner at cafeteria.

Time for dinner.

Quite proud with the tag I supposed lol

My big face!!! TT

Our yummy dinner ;)

When we were full, we straight away went to our campfire site. Loud trending music is on *definitely a good place to dance haha. The campfire is far away from our imagination. What we thought is just like lighting up a bunch of sticks but for this, it isn't. They invited Pn. Zaiton to light it up and the fire was like flying from here to there. JUST SO AMAZING! We started our first game with limbo rock. We circled the campfire to limbo rock but it was too windy which is a lil unsafe to run around the campfire area so we made a smaller circle. I always love to play limbo rock because of my flexibility (although not really flexible lol) but I failed at the last 2nd round. The following game is pass the ball. The person who holds the ball when the music stops have to accept the punishment. Our mischievous gang had a deal that if one of us lose then we'll take the punishment altogether. So we did, we danced in front of the others in group.

Loud and clear music system.

Pn. Zaiton is going to light it up!

SHOOOO COOOLLLLL

A blurry pic of cannot-see-my-face pic.

Opps, I failed :P

After that, we were divided into group of 10 and the instructor told us we are going to put up Kong Ming lanterns! We wrote our wishes and signed on it. When Hooi Yee was writing, we were quite curious that if Danial understand what we wrote since he's only 7. So, that time Hooi Yee was writing the word "good" and we asked Danial: "Danial, tau tak kakak tulis apa?" He thinks hard and answered: "good? ohhh! good night!" All of us burst into laughter hahaha. IT'S TIME FOR OUR KONG MING LANTERN FLOATS IN THE SKY! and it never failed us, our Kong Ming lantern was the highest among all. So, I sincerely hope that our wishes really do come true, especially the one we care the most - SPM.

Kong ming lantern.

10 people in a group.

Our wishes ;)

Lighted up.

With our signatures.

May you go way up high ;)

Disappearing.

Everyone was so happy with it haha

Feeling YEAH!

Our camp fire turned into..... (with flashlight)

Without flashlight.

After that, we took our bath again and went to squeeze in Syairah's tent. Know why I used the word squeeze? because there are 9 people in a tent! It was so pack haha They played prank call and eventually we got bored since we don't know who is the opposite fella. So, back to tent and sleep tight! ;)

The moon and the lights adorn the dark night.

Tuesday (19/11/2013)
Waking up at 4a.m. is a tough task for Hooi Yee and me so we dawdled on the bed for 20 minutes. Warmed up and here we go for mountain climbing! The height of Broga Hill is only 400m from sea level, but it is still quite tiring. The route we used is TOTALLY DARK, you see nothing, erm maybe a little. So it's a must to have a torchlight. Our journey to the peak of the hill took us 1 and a half hour so we reached there around 6.30a.m. and we took this opportunity to capture the mesmerizing sunset. We also went to another hill for better shots too.

Warming up.

HEH, WE REACHED THE PEAK.

BREATHTAKING SCENERY!

Sunset.

Selca.

When the Sun starts to blaze again...

Another peak of hill.

:)

A normal pic of us.

I don't know why am I acting like that :/

I wondered what made us laughed until like that? hahah
*that fella made me look so horibble for a few pics TT

Having bird eye's view.

WOAH!

WE'RE FROM SMKPT (well,  few of them aren't from our school).

We have to climb up there in order to get back but of course there's an alternative way too but just challenge ourselves la. I used a big pace while climbing up and the instructor told me not to rush again hahaha

Kami berjaya mencapai ke puncak Bukit Broga - ketinggian 400m.

On our way back.

The really bright sunlight shone on us ")

Pheww, like finally but it's way easier than climbing up as we're not against the gravity ;)
SCIENCE? HAHAH

After having an REALLY intense activity, we got to take our lovely breakfast but somehow people don't appreciate it. They seems so stuffed and like suffering while finishing them. Some of them were full or they don't like eating the beans. However, this situation occurred is partly because of Miss Wong haha. She wants us to finish the food before leaving in order not to waste them. She even checked everyone's plate before we leave. However, it's a good way *maybe not to those who are really full :P

Breakfast!

Forget about the breakfast and let's proceed to the next activity - Flying fox! Everyone is still looking so tired, not to mention, I'm one of them teeheeee. We were totally worn out, so we were almost the last to try and I played this game emotionless. So yeah, I bet the guy took an ugly tiring pic of mine.

Flying fox yeehaaaa

Instructor PJ gave us a short brief before we start.

Done!

Buhbyeeee. (I took one of the camper's pic because mine is blur)

And here comes our last 2 activities in Paradise Valley - kayak and swimming (if swimming is counted as one of the activity?). We didn't get to play much because we wasted too much time on flying fox so we have not enough time left.

GOGOGO, let's kayak!

Fun time ;)

Without delay, we quickly took our bath and checked out at 12.45 in the afternoon. We also went to have our last meal in paradise valley before leaving.

Putting our luggage into the bus.

On our way to cafeteria.

Coca-cola.

We ate a lot in Paradise Valley haha

Went to walk around while waiting for other friends.

I think I look taller than usual in this pic haha *only a thought

With Chou Tong.

The doesn't smile Danial (he is Pn. Zaiton's son in case you don't know) haha

Not to forget to take a group photo before bidding goodbye to paradise valley.

This is the pic that I have been worried about.
This happened when I was going to pass my camera to instructor PJ, I saw he was taking a random photo of  the unprepared us as we were waiting for other campers. Without thinking whose camera he was holding, I casually (or maybe purposely) walked forward and then I only came to know that it was their camera not ours lol. I was like OMG, WHAT DID I DO?! cz I don't know what is the outcome. They posted this at their page but luckily it isn't as awful as I thought *glad that it looks natural.

Group photo in front of the entrance of Paradise Valley.

Time to go!

For more info about Paradise Valley, click in: http://www.paradisevalleybroga.com/

We also visited ladybird organic farm while on the way back but sorry to say, it's kinda boring. The girl who conducted us is inexperience. I yawned for a few times there, maybe I was still quite tired after the mountain climbing and games. We also had the chance to pick our own sawi aka Chinese Mustard Green to bring it home. After that, we had a meal again. This camp is really wonderful, we can non-stop eating hahaha

The only plant I know - Rambutan lolol haha

These gooses are really noisy ._.

Since I have nothing to capture :P

Teaching us the process of making organic fertilisers.

These earthworms are used to make organic fertilisers.

The way to plant vegetables.

They use spring water from Broga Hill to water their plants.

As you can see, they have to shift the position of the vegetables as they grow.

Look at these vegetables really can relax your eyes ;)

Choosing our vegetables like aunties (Y)

And this is mine.

Time to makan again.

They served us organic vegetables, eggs and sea birdnest drink. Nice meal too!

When we were finished, we got into the bus and started our safe journey back to school. It took us only 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach. I hope we can spend the time longer as we hardly join this type of camp together. However, time pass and our Broga camp officially ended. It was truly an enjoyable camp with friends indeed. Gonna visit here again!

#It's always fun to spend time with friends (I mean most of the time).
#Glad that I did not miss the chance to join this too.
