Cheerleading

Society Day, an event where it is specially held for freshmen during orientation week. My friends and I were wandering around the booths to look for interesting society to join (we really spent a lot of time over there). I was attracted to Dancing Society as they provide several categories of dance and the one which makes me feel excited is CHEERLEADING! Cheerleading is a sport that I have been looking forward to joining since I was 13 years old. So yeah, I registered myself as a dancing society's member.

Then, I received a message mentioning that there is a dancing society's gathering at DK 2. I came here alone but soon accompanied by Carol as she has finished her TT night's audition. We got to know our leaders, made new friends and also watched some performances. Really envy their bravery and confidence while dancing!

It was our first cheerleading practice in this brand new semester and it was also the first day of me being a cheerleader - flyer. Initially, I was told to be a base because I have the strength but I requested to be a flyer as I really want to play that role (it reminds me of when I was in primary school time, I do not have the courage to request for something. I am glad I have changed). So yeah, life as a flyer begins!
We have our cheerleading practices every Tuesday. At the same time, we were preparing for an annual event which is Element Night 8.0! It will be my first performance as a cheerleader. Really enthusiastic about it!

P&P session, to promote Element Night 8.0. Every category of dance was required to perform on different days, so as we. It was held in Canteen 2 foyer and what I did is doing elevator and extension. :)

Our last rehearsal before the day of Element Night 8.0, also claimed as our formal, full rehearsal. We did everything same as actual day, we had it in the actual event's location and also on the stage with the blaring music and colourful lighting. It was a long day... from 1pm until 11pm......
