Joyful Christmas, Joyous Celebration

21/12/2019

This is one of the days that I really look forward to.
Why?
Because I get to meet my ex-colleagues who I used to work with during my internship in Reservoir World, all these familiar faces.

7.20pm, I entered our Airbnb.

I saw Redho in the courtyard, he told me the passcode of the door and I did not believe him as usual.
Nadia and Matthew in the living room. Nadia immediately asked me "What time is it?" as I was late for 20 minutes but hey, I'm the fourth to arrive, the are another 13 people still making their way here HAHA missing those banter days
(even these 2 scenarios got me some feeling)

Food are nicely arranged on the table, drinks are all prepared. We waited the others to arrive and had our great meal. GOOD FOOD, HAPPY TUMMY.

After we had our meal, we were separated into few different groups. There are PS4 FIFA group, Just Dance group and also the chit-chatting group (listening to JUICY stuffs). Everyone had a whale of time doing what they enjoy.

*Drums roll*
Matthew brought in a legit Gingerbread House. It is a pretty one, but not everyone can accept the taste, including me. Hence, we only managed to eat one side of the roof (THAT'S ALL). Soooo yeah, I have no idea who brought it home after.

It is 11.30pm and is time for gift exchange session! Everyone gathered in the living room, picked our own gifts, unwrapped the gifts and guessed who is our respective secret Santa. The atmosphere was so good.

Rachel, my secret Santa. She purposely used her left hand to write this but the art is still in her blood, guess I will still know it is her even she uses her toes to write them.

Alyah gave each of us the book she wrote, talented friend. | Also thanks to Matthew's mama for knitting us this cute Christmas Mini Stocking

The clock strikes 12am, some people had to leave while some continue playing their games. After much sweat from playing Just Dance, we started to play Exploding Kitten. It was a new game to me and it was quite fun, erm, excluding the part where I have to wear the "cone of shame".

The "ex-Reservoirians x Reservoirians Christmas Party" ends at 3.30am. We bid goodbye to each other, leaving me all alone in this Airbnb. I had to stay as I have another Christmas party nearby on the next day hence, save the hustle of driving here and there. (but still, there were 17 of us and it was quite surprising that no one else is staying over)

Afterthought: I miss all these awesome people a lot. Even typing this blog post made me recalling all the fun days and things I did with them last year. Though 85% of us are not in Reservoir now and are all heading to different directions, but the bond is still strong. And I absolutely loving this fact here.

Here, I attached the rough videos I took on this day. I had to trim them into 3 parts because I'm not allowed to post file that is larger than 100mb hmm

Part 1
Part 2
Part 3

All in all, thanks Matthew for making this happened. :)
