Campers Retour

After waiting for quite some time, YTT321 Campers Retour is finally here! The day before was quite tiring as I only get to hop onto my bed at 2 in the midnight. Yup, was preparing a birthday card for Shu Wen aka 妈妈桑 and guess what? I think it's not presentable ._.
Early in the morning, my parents fetch me to school and went to other places. This event is actually meant for parents, OKAY, no main character for me. When I reached our school, I asked Shi Quan where is the place we should gather and he answered me: "You just wander the school one round and you'll find it." I was like "okay...." haha lol
Before entering Penataran Ilmu, 营长 distributed out the brochures to the attenders. When we entered the hall, we were required to sit in a "U" shape (no idea why, they didn't mention the purpose of it lol) and quickly ask everyone to write wishes on the card I made and others'.
Kenn and Jia Lerk gave talks once everyone reached there. *not mentioning what they shared cz I don't remember haha)
After that, they requested the parents to close their eyes and told the kids to hold the parents to the seats behind. Everyone was so surprised when they brought in the pails filled with water because they have to WASH their parents' LEGS to show their appreciation towards their parents who left tears on their cheek while teaching them, having sleepless nights caring for them, work hard to provide them a better life and most importantly, giving their love to them unconditionally.
The scene was really really warm and touching. Some parents and even children cried :( It was so heartbreaking. (Those who came without parents' companion like me, did nothing. Such a waste)
After the heart-warming session, it's time to share thoughts and song. One of the parents was so brave, she described life being a single mum, raising her son and daughter. It is definitely a hard time for her and glad that her daughter accompanied her all the time :)
Our campers retour event continued with Shu Wen's birthday celebration. When one of us gave her the presents, her reaction was: "Erm... Oh...". (quite disappointing as we put our effort in preparing them but the reaction....) Then, we ate some mini cakes and started to take pic as the event ended.
The best part was I tried calling my parents for UNCOUNTABLE times but none of them pick up. Did they just make a decision of leaving me in school? :( haha nah, they were in Puchong. okay, imagine how far it is. Therefore, I am the last camper to go back home. I am really grateful that Boom, Jia Jun and Shi Quan waited for me until I went back. Thank you!
