Singapore Trip '14

11/6/2014 - 12/6/2014

Singapore trip, an unplanned trip during first semester holiday. My sister and I are actually not going anywhere but boom! Dad told us we are going to Singapore because his friend booked an extra room. So here we go! (ya, mum and elder sis are not joining us)

Malaysia-Singapore Second Link (connecting Johor, Malaysia and Singapore).

We departed from Uncle Alan's house early in the morning and reached Singapore by afternoon. We straight away headed to our hotel -- Days Hotel which is located at Jalan Rajah to check in. (we stayed in the same hotel last year. More pics: S'pore Trip '13 ) At that moment, Uncle Alan only came to know that he booked the wrong date for one of the rooms. It means no matter how, they are going to waste one room haha sorryyyy

Comfyyy.

View from our room.

Without wasting our time, we went to Zhongshan Mall to have a look. We got nothing to see over there so we decided to take shuttle bus to Velocity at Novena Square.

In the shuttle bus.

Velocity's Directory | Random vending machine.

We wandered around and came to the middle section where they sell some cheap stuffs and we saw our FAVOURITE marshmallow. We were kind of regret for only buying one packet of it as it's cheap and we hardly find it in Malaysia with that price. No idea what were we thinking that time.

Outside the building.

After that, we stopped by Burger King restaurant to have a lunch. It was quite scary when we bumped into an anorexia patient. Sincerely hope she can be fully recovered asap. We continue walking around until my dad bought us a fruit juice. I can't recall what flavour is it but it's really nice.

They costed us 7.90 SGD, so it's around 20.70 MYR.
Not sure where dad bought the pau from | SF Healthy juice. Worth a try :)
Back to hotel (dad and sis) | OOTD?

After having plenty of rest, dad's Singaporean friend fetched us to Gardens by the Bay for a visit. It was his first time going there too! We came at the right time! We got to watch the light show. They are shooooooo stunning. Yesh, happiness level is way up! hahaha Info: Gardens by the Bay

On the way.
Gardens by the Bay - 滨海湾花园.
Supertree Grove are uniquely designed and they are 25 - 50 metres tall with large canopies!
We saw a couple over there taking wedding photos so I bet it's an ideal place to take 'em.
新婚快乐!
They come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at specific time.

As you can see from the pictures, the supertree groves are changing colours.

They really made my jaw dropped!
You can see Marina Bay Sands from here.
Every visitor has a great time watching the show! I couldn't upload the video of the Supertree Groves changing its colour because the file is too big :(

Time to have a different view! We quickly bought our ticket to take a stroll along the OCBC Skyway. A 128 metre long walkway with a height of 22 metres that connects two Supertree Grove. It costs 5 SGD (13.10 MYR) for an adult. We didn't visit Flower Dome and Cloud Forest though...

Our ticket! We are ready to be captivated by the panoramic views of the Gardens as well as the surrounding Marina Bay area.
View from the top.

Such a waste :(

DAMN NICEEEEE

BYE, GARDENS BY THE BAY!

After having so much enjoyments, we had some food (Too bad I have forgotten where is it :/) and also time to back to hotel.
They were delicious! but I don't know what it is called!

It was my first time looking at this machine! You drive onto the machine and it will lift your car up for parking .(I think it's for parking)

Next morning, we had a brisk walk at Zhongshan Park and took our breakfast at Zhongshan Mall. We also decided to visit Sun Yat Sen Nanyang Memorial Hall. It is also known as Wan Qian Yuan and formerly as Sun Yat Sen Villa, a two-storey colonial style villa Balestier, Singapore (right beside Days Hotel). Free admission for Days Hotel's customers!

Zhongshan Park.
The camera lens was covered up with water vapour.

After wiping the lens.

Nice huh?

We had our breakfast at Toast Box, Zhongshan Mall.
